Walt Disney is returning their content to the customer base of Charter Communications, right on time for some Monday Night Football. They are ending a ten day blackout that had occurred before. The blackout had impacted a lot of the viewers of the CHTR cable service.
The charter cable service had argued with Disney on their charge of higher sums of money in order to get permission for distributing their content.
Now after their truce, Charter is going to offer up DTC services, that are going to include Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, as a part of the agreed deal.
The subscribers of the Spectrum TV are also about to get access to ESPN’s DTC service and Disney+ access. Some of the selected subscribers are going to get access to ESPN+ as a part of their deal.
